Additional Tips and Tricks

Here you will find some extra trips and tricks that may be useful for the more advanced users

Microsoft Teams

Participate via mobile or tablet

If your organization allows it, you have the opportunity to attend the meetings via the Teams app on your phone or tablet.

In the Teams client application, both desktop sharing and application sharing is available. If you share your desktop, your entire screen will be displayed. If you share one of your open applications (e.g. PowerPoint, Word), it will be the only one displayed. The screen/application being shared will be surrounded by a red border.

If you join via a web browser, the sharing options available to you will vary depending on the browser being used.

  • Chrome: can share desktop/window, apps, and whiteboard
  • Chromium-based Edge: can share desktop/window, apps, and whiteboard
  • Edge: can share apps and whiteboard (no desktop/window)

For the time being you will only see the active video for the last 4 people that have spoken in the chat/meeting.

Pexip / VMR

Participate via mobile or tablet

You have the opportunity to attend the meetings via the Pexip app on your phone or tablet.

You also have the opportunity to manage your meetings via the app. Here you can see who participates and you have the opportunity to 'mute' a user if necessary. You can also lock a conference so that you can not get other into the meeting.

In the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, you'll find the app "Pexip“. When you start the Pexip app, you can enter the VMR address (ex. 63631234@meet.sdc.dk)

Checking video and audio device

If you have problems with the sound or video image, you have the option of doing a loopback test from different units.

Make a call to 118 (your conference id is 118) and follow the on-screen instructions (external to 118@meet.sdc.dk). The call will revert your image and sound with a little delay.

Copy meeting URL into the address bar in Chrome, ex.   https://meet.sdc.dk/webapp2/conference/63631234
